How long will it take for a player of great ability with the video interface of the "wimp Itouch" unit?
Many of us do not need units of thin plates that fit into our shirt pockets and take care of our toys from there: hard drives are good. My IPOD 60Gig has been great for over 3 years now. We want video too much.
not until what Apple iPod Touch battery problem solved ... Like most video player out there, it could suffer greatly if Apple use the hard drive in Touch ... Apple will then either use a battery of higher capacity or they are waiting for SSD (Solid State Disk) reduce the price ... DSS more bulk of the mass production of 32 GB ... so it's the waiting game ... that's my 2 cents ...
