Leather Crafter
Will certain things help you get an apartment?
I'm going to be looking to get into an apartment soon but I wanna know if certain things will hurt me.
1st is my credit is ok
2nd, I do have a past felony for what they call internet crime (short version x-wife wrote online checks on my old account, she came with me to court to admit it but judge said it was in my name so I'm responsible. Did one year in state jail)
3rd. I am self employed, this is the big one. I do hold all my sale receipts, I am a leather crafter and I make nearly 2500.00 to 3000.00 a month. I thought about getting a job again but I'm making more doing this than any job I ever had before working full time (even as a pharmacy tech), Would it help to have 4 or so rent payments up front?
4. I used to live in an apartment with an x girlfriend and after 4 months we both moved out, but she stayed in the complex just in a different unit. But I'm sure my name was taken off even before the last two months.
Any info would help..
