Snake Imprint

i have little holes all over my back yard?
I have tiny holes all over my backyard. There are trail marks imprinted in the grass about 2 inches thick leading up to the holes. I thought maybe it was a snake.. what else could it be? i also found 3 small hatched eggs near a tree in my yard.. might have been birds... not sure if it is related or not.. does anyone know what it could be
it's either a snake or rodents put some of the
sticky traps down so you can capture what
ever it is
