Brillo Dye Vinyl
Does anyone know how to remove stains from a vinyl floor?
I think its a rust stain from the water, its right beside the bathtub. Its kind of Orange in color. Also a hair dye stain right in the middle of the floor. I have tried 409 and Brillo pads but no luck. Any help out there? Thanks in advance.
1st the hair dye, try rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) on a clean white cloth., if that doesn't work try a tiny bit of mineral spirits or turpentine, if THAT don't get rid of it, try fingernail polish remover containing acetone , and for all of these use a clean white cloth.. they may also work on the rust stain, but those are difficult, though I have had luck with a commercially available pruduct called CLR, and also those toilet bowel cleaners that shoot under the rim... wear gloves (rubber) , and safety goggles/glasses.
