Why should Americans bend to the world's opinion about who should be President?
I could give a rat'sass what the french who nearly voted for a neo nazi ( Le Pen) in their last election cycle.... or the germans who keep putting socialists in power regardless of the fact that people created an underground economy to avoid paying into teh system but still milk the system for all they can.
Generally it is a good idea to have the world on your side.
Especially since this spur of globalization, we are all in this together.
