I have an old fire extinguisher made by Harden Grenade co. Chicago. I can't find any information about it.?
This fire extinguisher appears to be made of copper and has rivets around the top and bottom horizontally and from top to bottom vertically on back side. This is the large floor model. It has the bottle that hangs under the screw on top. The lid does not have the standard round handle as all the others, it only has little ears that extends one on each side. It also says on one face plate "Harden No 1. The only information from the internet searches I found from Harden was the glass grenade extinguishers. Can anyone give me information on this? The year etc. Thanks.
Sounds more like an antique then a sculpture. Maybe you could repost this question in a different category, perhaps even the "other Visual Arts" category if you can't find one closer to antiques or collectibles. It doesn't look like you're going to get many answers here about it.
Sounds interesting though, have you taken it to an antique dealer or appraiser? They may be able to help you.
