Does anyone know what kind of glue works for leather on shiny metal steel?
I'm glueing leather around my sai and around the prongs. I tried Goop like other people suggested but doesn't stay on. Does anyone what glue works?

I make jewelry and THE product that all professional jewelers use for adhering metal and mixed media (leather etc) is called E6000. It is extremely strong! You have to wear a mask when applying it, but it dries clear and the bond is superior. If you have an Ebay account, you should find it there. Make sure it has an applicator tip with it (some don't), because without it, you won't be able to use it at all.
The other glues out there that you can buy in most craft stores are simply not strong enough, even the ones that say they are for metal.
I don't always just use small amounts of E-6000 either. I've glued substantial metal to metal objects many times with permanent, professional results.
