How long is a rush hour commute from Loyola to Chicago Ave on the Red/Brown CTA Lines?
I am looking at apartments near the Loyola stop on the RED line and need to commute to Chicago Ave BROWN stop everyday for work. How long can I expect this to take on a normal day (and worst case scenario)? I have looked at transitchicago.com and google maps and both are telling me something around 40 minutes. Is this realistic or will it possibly take longer?
I put in the landmarks of LOYOLA CTA - RED and 300 W CHICAGO AVE into the RTA trip planner (see link below). I got trips between 30 and 40 minutes. Fares were $ 2.25 or $ 2.50. Your times will vary depending on your arrival and leave times and the trip planner offers these options. You can also put in your departure and arrival addresses for more option
