How do I clean my sweaty, stinky leather watch strap?
I have a beautiful white leather watch which I love so much I wear it almost all the time... and that's the problem. Hour upon hour of wear have resulted in the watch strap smelling horribly of sweat. I have tried scrubbing it with hand soap, but that didn't work. I am at a loss - it stinks and I love wearing it! How can I get the smell out? The watch face is attached to the strap and cannot be removed, so I can't immerse/soak the watch in liquid (not waterproof).
try a mixture of baking soda and water, make a paste and let it soak and sit, rinse off and let it air dry overnite. Take it off in the future when you bathe, and go to bed at nite, it needs airing out !
