Leather Metallic

Fashionistas, what should I wear a yellow handbag (messenger style, casual) with? Black, red, or metallic?
It's by Next, can't find a picture in the net. It's not leather.
It's a casual one with long strap.
It's perfect with skinny jeans and casual stuff, but I'm thinking about taking it to another level, maybe with a dress or something a little more "club" style. Ideas?

i'd go with a really nice solid black dress, yellow heels and maybe a yellow bangle? or even a different colour bangle. Here's my idea:
