Tape Aluminum

I just bought a new aluminum bat, should I tape the handle?
I see kids tape their handles, I just want to know should I too. The handle is brand new and everything though.
This may seem like a useless answer, but it's really up to you. If it feels good with the original grip on the bat, then don't tape it.
